CopsCorry sent me this link from The Vancouver Sun.  The officer on the right is a life size, weatherproof cutout the city's sign shop made.  The officer on the left is real.  Vancouver is putting the cutout around town as a way to deter speeding.  City engineering staff have collected "before" speed data and are planning to collect "after" speed data when the six month trial is over.  I am guessing this will be a pretty effective campaign as long as they can keep vandalism to a minimum.
