The pocket radar claims a +/- 1 mph accuracy.  Thanks to Marc Culver and Officer Grant Smith at the City of Maple Grove for helping us put it to the test.  Not a thorough scientific test, but the minute and a half video below validated the accuracy to me.  We're now selling the $199 pocket radar at CountingCars.com.

 

  • I’ve had one of these for a while, works decently enough to be useful and you’re more likely to have it at hand when needed due to the size. An adjustable backlight would be nice but it’s not too much of a handicap as long as there’s some ambient light.
